Roxxy on the Rocks began in 2013, born from the longstanding friendship of two bartenders. At the time, Sameshia had been bartending for a few years, while Jasmine was just beginning. Jasmine had a degree in business management and small entrepreneurship from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and she was eager to use her knowledge base to become a business owner. Once she began bartending, Jasmine noticed that customers frequently inquired about hiring bartenders for their private parties, events and weddings. Jasmine (also known as Roxxy) leaped at the opportunity to start a mobile bar business — Roxxy on the Rocks. Soon after she recruited the help of her best friend Sameshia, and together they built the bar service from ground up. Sameshia is the business’ certified mixologist, creating new and unique cocktails for clients, as well as the delicious treats that appear on ROTR’s menu. She is also a private chef and the owner and founder of Meshia’s Meals & Mixers. Since its inception, ROTR has partnered with well-known brands such as Jack Daniel’s, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Bulleit Bourbon, as well as popular, local festivals in the Birmingham Metro Area. This dynamic duo never stops moving, and they are ready to rock with you!
